Oil Pressure Gauge

    How should it behave when you first start up? [:s]

    It should read 2Bar @ 2000rpm when the engine is at 80C degrees.

    Not yet had it up to temp yet [:$] (still need to get a part to get that gauge working! :lol: ) but anyway, that is probably why it reads off the scale at 5Bar when it's cold? or is something else at fault?

    Mine does the same. Prob expected teh pressure is high with the oil being more viscous when cold. As long as its right at 80C like you said i wouldnt worry bout it. Audis do the same.
