    Deleted the uncalled for comment.

I have no idea how to remove a clarion HU but I guess theres some slots in the front where you poke to extraction tools.

    The key's may look like

So that gives you a clue.

thanks gbolton, i made the "uncalled for comment" because i
don't feel this forum gives as much as it did, i used to sit on it
alot, offer my odd penny here and there, and found it a fun and
rewarding exchange. however since the change-over the forum
seems more about general chat than serious car advice (last
year i could pose a question and it'd be answered bloody fast),
i've posted recently and not had ANY response - so i had abit of
a swear in reaction to that and the fact that i was having a s hit
day at work, sorry forum mods. - we all have tantrums now and
    again, don't we..?!

i got my stereo out, for a fiver at a local car stereo shop, they
had the metal things you posted a piccy of and said they were
    like rockin' horse sh-it...

cheers, i love my new car stereo, i can listen to the theme from
magnum pi so much more clearly now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
