    Hi Guys [:D]

I know some of you have bought the Bilstein Gas dampers for Mk2 8v's from Euro Car Parts - what part numbers where they (front and back) and where they the full struts (cos thats what I'm after)?

I've got my eibach springs so I'm slowly buying the rest of the bits when funds allow!

What bumpstops have you used with them as well?

    Cheers!

i would have thought the front ones would be more than 21 quid each, mine were 30 a corner from dubsport. if i remember (which is highly unlikely) i'll have a look for a part number on mine tomorrow.

i'm using standard VAG bumpstops and also have eibach springs. i wish i'd used G60 top mounts too but i didn't, oops.

GSF list the complete front struts at 28+VAT each but they dont seem to list them for the GTi models....Rears are 24+VAT. Then again, Euro car parts list them as "g2" and dont mention GTi models either though so they are probably all the same.

Im thinking of getting raceland dampers and eibach springs though as the raceland dampers are shorter than standard.

Yeah I wasn't sure about getting shorter dampers....

The Bilstein GAS are used in their 'streetline' lowering kit with -30mil springs so I think they'll be fine with the eibachs....
