I'm in Germany currently (well, actually I'm at home until I go back out again Monday), and have been expressly forbidden to take my 1.0 Focus Estate hire car to the 'Ring... lol

in one of the linked videos there is a full size coach going around... bit mental.

I got sucked into a youtube nuburgring crash video link marathon, is it a normal rule to ignore people who crash due to the speed of other cars on the track, putting yourself in danger? i noticed in most of the videos people keep driving even if the accident looks pretty bad, I assume they have marshals on track?

Are there any requirements to a vehicle to get it on track other than wearing a helmet?

Luck of the draw, sometimes people stop but too many stopping at once can cause issues too!

Don't even need to wear a helmet there, although you'd be daft not to.

We went around three up in an old alfa, no helmets on, in shorts and tshirts and without any sleep for two days! Fun times. It seemed a blur, probably from lack of sleep and having redbull on drip
