I'm trying to decide between These and These.

I can't decide whether the chrome ones are too shiny or not, or whether I should get the brushed effect. Bearing in mind I have chrome door pulls, the chrome ones would probably blend in better.

Has anyone got any pics of either/or in their car? I've seen Darkus's pic and still can't decide [:s]

    Opinions[:?:]

I'm also looking at getting some Door Pins. I tried the Bullit ones at the Mega-Meet but they didn't fit - apparently the later Mk 3's are a different size to the earlier ones. They're really the only ones I like, although the grooved ones would be my next choice, which I believe would fit.

Edit - sorry mods, wrong section. Feel free to move it to styling/trim :)

The chrome heater controls look like bath taps :thumbd:

Well get the chrome ones and if you don't like them I'll have them, and I'm serious. :)

Not sure, I considered them for my car, but the chrome ones I saw were tacky..they looked cheap.

I have to say I've yet to see any replacement heater controls that look better than the standard ones. The chrome ones look, IMHO, tacky!

i must say that i kinda like the brushed ones. If you wanna go for something different from standard, i'd say they were best.

    ^^^^^^ What he said.

When I've got some money to waste, I might buy some just to see how they look. [8-}]

I got a plain set from the scrappy, plastic primed them and painted them satin silver to match the car, not to in your face and look ok, imo!

I know they won't match the door pulls and door pins but you can soon have too many shiny bits...

Wanna rid of them as they dont look right in the middle of a sea of black!

Chrome don't look very nice and will look dull when they are all covered in fingerprints!!!! (I know cos of my gearknob)

As for the silver ones, unless you have some silver colour coding on your dash then I'd say leave them and stick with the originals.

Spend the money on the door pins, they are nice!
