Im using the gsxr engine as I have a salvage one. Im using the coupe because I like a challenge I have got 2 new quarter pannels Im using to extend the back 6 inches, also using a caddy floor and rear cab section. I have sourced a ford seara with 23k on it for the rear end and prop, taking that to flavels engineering to have and inch chopoed of either side to shorten it so it fits under the rear arches of the polo. I like the idea of a bike engine as it will be easy to work on. Cant wait to see the m.o.t guys face when he lifts the bonnet.Ii think with all the chopping and changing I could get away with insuring it as a kit car(maybe) still waiting for more info on that.more pics soon.
