    any chance someone could cut around the car sitting it on a totally white background please?

    aye, and magic wand, and free hand, trying all alt shift and ctrl buttons too...

    i just used the erasor, simple as,:)


    i tried the magic wand but it give a rough edge, so i just used the eraser insead [:D]

    i tried the eraser too, but was saying background was locked and wouldn't let me...

    ah ok,


    well if you pressed 'ctrl j' then did it then when you had finished in this case Painting round it in white, press 'ctrl e' your problem would be sloved [:D]

    and in your sig why not make the back ground invisible so you cant see the white box around it,


    like the second pic i posted?!

    file > save as for web


    change to a GIF, on the top left there is a pippet, click on it, then click on the white part around the pic, then on the other side in the tool bar there will be a pixilated immage, under there there is a box which looks like the background when there is nothing there (if that maked sence, like a chess board,) and it should take all the white out of the pic,


    then just save it,

    top right arrow - select GIF


    top left arrow - select eyedropper tool, then click on the white section of immage


    bottom right arrow - click to show what parts are not visible,


    then save,


    ok?

    ok i think i've worked it out... but how do i size it without loosing quality? want it right size for a sig but can't without it looking grainy
