Can someone tell me the easiest way to get a power cable through from the engine compartment on a Mk4. I could spend hours looking for a way through when there is a simple solution. Chiz
down the left hand side, look in your bulk head see if there is a spare hole, in mine (mk2) there was a convienent hole with a plastice plug in that i used, once its through you just have to feed it under the carpet. tim
I just wired a power wire a couple of months ago and you just need to look for a black little rubber plug about the size of a quarter. If your standing on the American drivers side looking into the engine compartment it's about a third of the way in a little ways down on the firewall. Hope this helps.
Thanks guys, I can see this is going to be a challenge considering the 2.8 takes up a lot of room under the bonnet.
yeh, nothing is ever easy! maybe it would be easier to pull the carpet away in the foot well and look from that side? tim
