Got my mates sony cd player working, powered all good. However the older sony cassette player from my bro's mk3 doesn't do jack poo! The wiring harness is all correct, but what could be the problem bar a faulty head unit (It worked a few weeks ago!)
There could be a break in one of the wire of the harness, or perhaps more simply the fuse in the headunit may be blown. Change it even if it looks OK visually.
Yeah fuse looks tidy, harness is fine as i can swap the headunits with the cd unit working fine all the time. i'll change the fuse to see how it goes
