Seen worse than that on risca (s.wales) bypass once when i was driving home & noticed no traffic coming in other direction & when i got to a rounabout i slowed down & as i looked to right while going straight across the roundabout the one half was covered in what looked like snow? It was then i noticed the artic lorry that had cages full to the top with bottles for re-cycling & dropped the whole lot while going around the roundabout . Must have taken ages to clear.
I remember one of the milkmen I used to work with doing that many years ago. He forgot to put the retaining bar in the side of the transporter he was driving and when he went round a right hand bend they went all over the road. Being a law abiding kind of chap he called the old bill to tell them that there was glass all over the road and to warn motorists. They promptly arrived whiles he was doing his best to clean it up and slapped him with a ticket and 3 points for an unsafe load. Unlucky I guess.
A lorry full of fish did that where I used to stay. All the minks were out filling up bags with the fish Stank for weeks....
