I have created a new section so we can keep track of all the requests and bugs currently. Putting them in one thread is messy and i cant reply to one person very well when another has posted.
This setion has a thread prefix enabled of open/closed so i will update when something is complete. If you feel this is somthing that would help in other sections, request it and we can look into in.

    Cheers
    Mat

    Updates as of last night:

    Fixed SSL errors, I think.
Members (forum users, not paid members) can now edit their own posts.
Removed a setting which should have sped it up a bit.
Changed the message reply editor to buttons instead of menus. (Admin only for testing)
Added the table button to new message reply. You can now choose to insert a table. (Admin only for testing)
You can now also copy and paste an excel table into this and do fancy styling. (Admin only for testing)

Anyone sees any problems post them up.

Any idea why I don't have an 'edit post' button like on the old forum? Would like to go and update some image links

Are you able to look at the forum performance? It's really slow to load.

I find it a tad slow sometimes
Also find the search disappointing at times find it easier to use Google

Could we have threads we have started back in the profile?

I find it slow most of the time, I don't have the best internet connection either which makes things even worse.

I have a feeling its down to the image proxy system, since the site has to download all the images then you have to download it again from the clubgti server? once we move to direct upload on the clubgti server this may help. or not, since at least with remote hostign the site doesnt have to handle the image downloads...

I don't think it's to do with the images, as even just going to the main page is slow.
    I may be wrong though.

Ok, so i have changed a lot of settings server side to try and speed it up. We are now gettings A's on webpagetest for static content and TTFB etc which is great as they were F when i started.
The forum and main website feels much fast now so let me know what you think.

One thing i have noticed today is that chrome is much faster than firefox which is a shame as i use firefox mostly!

Morning all, did the forum disappear for over a week last week? The faceache page did at least load, but nothing seemed to work.
All back to normal now but want to know if it was everyone, or just me [sniff].
Ps it is loading slowly but at least isn't timing out anymore.

I'm using Chrome/Windows 10/Sky broadband, and everything else loads quickly, I'm getting 20Mbps download and 9 up.
