    something inbetween.

    i love the sound of the turbo ne way. maybe some sort of re-circulating valve but with a bit extra "Ptisshhhhh" as you call it.

    can't beat the noise of a turbo spooling then an almighty TSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS noise followed by pedestrians cowering to the floor thinking the world has come to an end :lol:
    do prefer the noise of a re-circ though.

    People who don't like them, don't like them because they haven't got on!

    They sound mint, and it feels great when you're driving the car and the wastegate is chattering away.

    My mates 8v turbo is the most insane sounding car I've ever heard! :clap:

    I have a Turbo Dynamics Viper DV on my 1.8T its the twin piston model, it's a recirculating DV, would be nice to have some noise from it as 1.8T's are far to quiet!

    get a bigger induction kit and remove the noise reduction from bonnet then :lol:

    I like it... people try to race me and when I shift to 2nd they back down cause they know they can't catch up... and they are shock that turbo is stock on the GTI 1.8T<--- Wouldn't think the T stands for Turbo???

    CWP isn't affected


    but CPHP is about +30 for a dump valve


    wastegate chatter however sounds great....
