    it's a non-standard turbo - you won't find one on a scrap car

    ...oh - you mean the standard t3/t4 as used on the Bentley Turbo and Cosworth RS500?? [:D]

    but yes - not to be found in a scrap yard.

    You can pick them up for about 500-600 new if you know where to look.

    I would have thought a simple T4 turbo would be good enough for starters on a VR6?

    T3's came on a lot of cars. t3/t4's didn't by the sounds of it.

    Rallye VR6 - A t4 would be the cheapest place to start - i suppose it depends what you want from teh engine (and how much money you have ;) )

    Well, I personally want as much power as possible, so a T76 Ballbearing Turbo on a 24V V6 will do me fine! Obviosuly I'll need to comletely and totally rebuild engine.

    I think I'll have to start saving my pennys!! [xx(]

    Yeah, tell me about it. Cheapturbo.com have just the turbo going for $1850 [:^(] Just as well its one of my loooooong term ideas I think! [:s]
