What are these retailing for these days as seen a post from last year where all this bar item 22 came to about 225? I'm being told 367 as of today? Surely this can't be right? 1.6x the price It was a year or two ago? I got the price down a reasonable bit. Still it's had regular services all it's life and 6 oil/filter changes in the last 2 years from me so hoping the tooth profiles are fine. Chains are quiet enough but the values make me uneasy- I've went to the expense of Schricks so may as well replace it all while it's apart given it's going to get a proper hammering during the summer. Chains were -4 and -7 last summer (sadly I've lost the log with the chain values when I bought it) but now -6 and -8 which really doesn't make much sense if I'm interpreting the values correctly. There's 4 degrees between cam banks then later on only 2. If the top guide wears then surely the exhaust reference postion will gradually retard and the exhaust value will increase wrt to the inlet value? All the other wear will only serve to retard the cams equally?
