rallye front now photoshopped on..

im toying with the idea of a rallye front end after reading this months 'the golf'

anyone got any good pictures of a debadged one with a deep spoiler.

or know where i can buy a rallye front end from.....shall i wait till inters?

The headlights are the expensive part. Not sure how easy they are to get hold of.

The look isn't at the top of everyone's list anymore so you might be able to get the parts a bit cheaper.

I must say I think it looks hard as nails in that pic!!

 

grab the 'golf' mag this month there is a black mk2 with a rallye front it looks very cool!

im very particular in what i want tho, not every rallye front is to my taste.

 

Yeah I know what you mean.

Do you mean the dark G60? Looks good apart from the CL spoiler on the back bumper.

Anyway, I don't like colour coded grills (apart from original spec on a Rallye for example) as there are so many holes, it looks too cluttered.

That white one wouldn't look half as good if the grill was white - just not my cuppa really.

 

yeah thats the one.....would look a little better de badged too but still i like the style in which they have done it!

 

i would love a rallye front grill...

If you are down Guildford at the No-Rice in April I'll bring mine down so you can have a proper look at what it looks like in Oak Green - one of the best mods you can do IMO is the Rallye front end!

I was going to meet you a few months back I remember but couldn't find you around your ride. Let me know what colour jacket your wearing or whatever, and I'll pop over and have a chat! - Be nice to actually know who I was playing around with on the way to Inters last year!! Can't beat the good old times!

Mental is one word to describe it! - about 5 oak greeners on the prowl, I was trying to work out who was who!!

yeah i should be at no rice around that time.

i'll be going up with a vr6 highline, mk4 turbo and a v6 4 motion. cant beat last year tho with all those oakies....i wish i had of got a picture. this time ill be riding with a mate who will be taking pictures. gonna be great!

thinking about camping up there tho...so im not 100% sure yet

heres my rallye with a rallye front end



I think it suits the rallye better than the standard mk2, its a squarer body, so the squarer lights seem to fit in with the look more. I have seen a couple of rallyes with single rounds, and the round lights dont suit the square arches either!

 

Has to be done on a mk2! Fat eyebrow spoiler for the tough look!
