Re-fitting MK2 Golf Windows.....

    Can anyone give me any tips when re-fitting the windows in a MK2 Golf?? Do i need to seal them or will this cause problems with water drainage later on???

    Any info appeciated!!

    what you need it some nice green tint popout rears :p

    when i took lukes old ones out, there didn't seem to be any sign of sealer. so i wouldn't bother mate it will only trap water if some how is gets in !

    That was what i was thinking but at the same time but want to give any water any excuse to try and get in, you see the state of the inside rear quarter where water had been getting it [:^(] More rust than metal [xx(]

    true but it has a nice coat of fresh paint now ! maybe spray some waxoil in the window seals before refitting ! as it will act as water repelant (sp)

    i was going to put a bit of grease (that spray grease stuff) round each of the lips. A bit messy but good at getting rid of water!!
