    Well after some time with a MK5 Jetta Sport 140ps TDI (3 years) & MK6 Jetta GT 150pd TDI (2 years) due to family needs I have downsized to a more GTI like car (sort of) - plan is a full blooded GTI Polo once some 6 naughty points have disappeared (driving a work van long story!)as I buy via PCP nowadays.
    On Tuesday I pick a October 2014 Polo BlueGT 1.4TSI 150ps ACT.......Black 3dr....not a full GTI I know but back into the small GT type hatchback.....yay! I have still done a track day at Castle Combe (automatrix VW & Audi day's) each year in whatever cars I have owned since 2005 including the Jetta's! I wasn't going to argue when other half asked me to downsize my car as she has a big Estate car now....umm not quite what she expected me to buy but then she was not surprised!!
    Previous cars -
    * Verious MK2 Scirocco GTX/Scala Injection's
    * 06 Passat 2.0TDI SE estate (total pile of crap more time being fixed than driven)
    * W-reg Polo GTI 1.6 16v
    * 2007 Jetta 2.0TDI 140ps TDI
    * October 2014 (2015 Facelift) Jetta 2.0TDI GT 150ps TDI

    NOW..........
    October 2014 (2015 year model) Polo blueGT 1.4TSI 150ps ACT.....it feels fantastic on test drive 16.800 miles on clock with winter pack and half leather options fitted ????. Now values interesting my MK6 Jetta was worth 9.900 so basically went back totally writing off the old PCP (salesman said spotless P/X he has ever had) my new Polo BlueGT was 13.000 which shows how much Jetta's suffer depreciation as both Polo blueGT/Jetta GT similar money's new. Why staying with my PCP? My plan 3 years of my "warm hatch" blueGT and some naughty points gone and stick of late MK6 Polo GTI's or Early new MK7 Polo GTI or blueGT should be around to chose from.
    It feels good to be going back to petrol - before it gets banned in 2040 from sale!

    Go for it. I was torn between R32 mark 5. Polo GT (180hp) or mark2 heart ruled head so now have mark 2 sat in the garage. Polo would have been sensible option!
