have found one of these for sale - now i have a fair idea what the RE2000 engine is...

but never heard of a scirocco one before - it's on an H plate - anyone ever heard of an RE2000 rocco before?

other than the engine would it have been likely to be converted to full rocco 16v spec? or did they sometimes just throw the lump in?

No use to you dex. Remember, Jesus drives a 'rocco.

So tell your local friendly Scirocco owner where it is, so it caan go to a suitably pampering home :)

    it is a 16v one ;)

and i might go look at it today - it's up for 1500 - if i can't convince my mate to by it then send me a pm if you want me to let you know - this isn't gonna make me any money (gonna cost me petrol to go look) but if it's in tidy nick it's worth keeping in the family.
