My rear tail light bulb was not working and it seems to have blown. I replaced it but it still isnt working. The rear fog light does not work either but the indicator and brake light still work.
Is this a problem with the light holder itself. Is it hard to replace?
Please help as I am next to useless with the electrical side of things.

Check fuses as bulbs can sometime pop them.

Also clean up the contacts on the bulb holders and wiring connections.

To remove push in the tabs at the sides and then pull off the wiring connector whilst lifting the bit thats shaped for fingers (you'll know what I mean when you see it).

When connecting back up and putting the bulbs in, ask a friend to hold the brake pedal and twist and wobble the bulb about in the holder until it lights. Sometimes they don't sit right first time.

I checked the other tail lightbulb and it was fine. Seems the replacement one I got had a double contact where as the original has a single central one. Looks like thats the problem. Simple!
