Hi all, I have just bought a mk4 golf gti 1.8t on Friday and when I looked at it I noticed the rear quarter panel problem. Does anybody know why it has done this? Cheers guys
what the lacquer peel quite common if it has been painted in the past and even the oem paint can peel red is worst my silver 4motion is the same in some small places made worse by me jet washing it
Its got a rough texture to it and it doesn't look like lacquer peel when standing in front. Its also on the passenger door (I got given another complete door). My mate works in a bodyshop and he wasn't sure what has happened and he mopped some of it and it looks a bit better
