rear wiper and c/l help

right

my rear wiper has given up on the gti, the washer still works (not the fuse), when it died, it worked, then it got really weak and stoped half way thru its wipe, now you can move the wiper by hand, suggestions?

nextly, central locking, it doesnt work, (and yes it does have it) theres 2 wires in the door (pink and blue if i remember correctly) going to a blue plug, which isnt plugged into anything, nor can i see anything for it to plug into?

whats missing?

 

Wiper motor has given up by the sounds of it.Changed my one a few years ago and it was lack of use which slightly seized the bearing which in turn goosed the motor.

 

would it just die that suddenly?

not to worry ive got the one off my 1.3 in't shed

 

No it was kind of gradual as it got slower over a period of time then died.

 

ok, so nobody knows about central locking?

what's normally behind the doorcard?

how many wires, going where?
