As there are a few lovers of old school around these parts, I thought I'd recommend some top dvds Movies: Beat Street you must know Krush Groove [Region 1] movie starring a number of people such as Run DMC and Kurtis Blow actually acting in it. Wild Style [Region 1] I have this on region 2, but I believe it has since been deleted and is extremely hard to find. Poor film in terms of script/acting , but as a document of the true early original hip hop scene it is unique and fascinating [featuring to name a few: One of the original and brilliant graffiti artists 'Lee' in the lead role,Grandmaster Flash and a very young Rocksteady Crew - I think CrazyLegs is only about 14 in this] Documentaries: Scratch [Region 1] Very well made documentary about hip hop DJing. The Freshest Kids Excellent documentary about b-boys Through the Years of Hip Hop 1 - Graffiti A very cheaply made documentary about graffiti , it looks like it was meant to be part of a trilogy that never happened. But as a documentary about graffiti it is good Well there ya go, hope someone finds this usefull
