Hi all, brand new on here, and the search isn't working. Apologies if you've had this one already ... MY golf vr6 highline remote central locking is playing up. Sometimes it works first time all the time, then other times (e.g. after not locking and it setting the alarm active itself) it seems to play up. So it takes me a couple of minutes of pressing the button until it finally works. Can still unlock with key, but alarm then goes off. Funnily enough, it then seems to deactivate with the remote quite easily. For the time being I've silenced the alarm (key under bonnet) - is it possible to easily totally disable it? I don't mind always using the key ... The remote fob is a VW one and I believe this is the alarm installed originally from VW. Cheers for any help! Edited by: mattd1
