I had armour plates fitted to my MK2 for security and to cover scum damage. However underneath must be rusting because streaks of rust have started appearing underneath from rain water I guess. Is it easy to remove and refit the plates?

prise off the door handle inser and take out the screw, open the door and you'll see a chunky phillips head screw. Take this out too and the handle should come off along with the armour plate :p
