How do I go about removing the glovebox in my mk2? I have detached all the screws but it seems to catch on the right hand side when I try and pull it out. I am trying to get acess to the wiring to install some crossovers.

Any help would be much appreciated.:)

no other way to do it other than time and pain i found!

took me ages to get mine out, i was installing a new aerial, with all the screws out you just have to squash it to get it through the hole.

have a play around with it, it will come out eventually!

I've never been able to get them out without partly removing the dash.

The back of the box, hits on the bulkhead.

Last time I did one, I took all the dash screws out and pulled it forward on the passenger side enough to get the thing out. Most annoying really.

I've undone the side dashboard bolt and the one underneath right next to the glovebox which is attached to a vertical bar and this was not enough. What else do I have to undo? I am already putting alot of force into the glove box, so I don't want to push harder and snap something.

There are two inside the engine bay. Remove the plastic in the drip tray and have a search around the windscreen wiper linkages on the bulkhead. There is one on each side.
