Stripping out the mk2 as a fun waggon for the weekends, and took the heater matrix out today with the dash but that leaves me to connect the inlet and outlet hoses of the matrix together.

Can someone confirm for peace and mind that there's no issue with doing this (basically bypassing the matrix system)?:)

Not really if you don't want heat inside (remember it's useful for clearing the windscreen etc)

Other issue if you are using it for track days is remember the matrix is a radiator itself.... can be useful to use it to get rid of heat from the engine and out of the engine bay

Its only for summer use at the weekends when the weather is dry, so got rid of it but didn't want it to impact any of the pressurisating (sp) of the cooling system.

I thought of it for cooling purposes, but don't drive it all that hard and generally look after the cooling of the car so will see how the car gets on without it.

It won`t have any affect at all, other than no cabin heating as mentioned.

Well this is what it looks like and will remain as (with a steering wheel, clocks and switches)
