If i ring up my insurance company and arrange for my replacement windscreen, if i tell them i have a top-tint screen when i dont really have one, will the fitter refuse to fit it or can i pay the extra?
Don't think they would say anything, but to be 100% sure I'd smash your existing windscreen or remove it so the fitter has no idea what was fitted to it before
I did this and i think it depends on the fitter. Bloke I had was sound, he pointed it out but said he didnt care as he got paid wot eva. He said they dont check wot came out it just goes in the skip. If there is a problem just act stupid and say you got confused on the fone!
