Is it possible to reposition the warm up regulator on a 16v?

Reason I ask is, i'am selling my 9a 16v and I removed the section on the head which the wur bolts too as i'am running carbs.

Buyer wants to refit k-jet so just need to know what is vital for the wur to work

    Cheers, lee

it just needs to be mounted to the block/head somewhere so it gets heated up as engien warms, position isnt vitaly important except the fact the fuel lines need to reach it of course.
