I accidentally left the radio on in my mk2 today and it only just started after work with a half dead battery.

Once it'd started though, the oil and water light both stayed on, the digital clock froze and the rev counter stopped working all together. Everything else working fine.

With the ignition off and key out, both red lights stayed on so i disconnected the battery and reconnected it hoping that would sort it.

Engine started fine, but now both oil and water lights don't illuminate at all, the mfa/clock doesn't even show anything and the rev counter is still kaput :-(

Any ideas, or is it new clocks time?

    Cheers, Mike
