Reversing light problem

    or lack of light, as the case may be, I've located the switch ontop of the gearbox and shorted the two pins out and the reversing lights come on, is it likely that the switch itself is buggered or is there something else more scary happened? [:^(]

    terminals on mine just corrode, give them a clear and it'll probably be ok.

    Had the same problem with mine. Take the switch out and have the iginition on. Press the little bearing in at the end - if the light still does not come on, then you have a duff switch. Clean terminals and try again - then is still no joy get a new switch. If the lights do come on then there is aproblem with the box not tripping the switch - hope it's not the latter!!
