Manfred Kremer @ age 81, known from the Porsche`s 935 Erwin and Manfred Kremer We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Manfred Kremer yesterday. Back in 1962 he and his brother Erwin opened a Porsche 356 workshop in Cologne. When Erwin started racing in the early 1960s they founded the Porsche Kremer Racing Team with their friends Hermann Bürvenich and Willi Großmann. Manfred took care of the cars and worked on the engines. The team became highly successful, with their cars winning Le Mans, the ETCC, Sebring, Daytona and much more. Manfred was also very kind and helpful during the work for the book "Porsche Kremer Racing – The Complete Team History". He wa 81 and leaves his wife Waltraud and his daughter Stephanie.
