Road Angels are huge and cannt be upgraded to radar protection...ever.

Origin B2s on the other hand can be upgraded to radar protection, are detahcable from their cradle so can be hidden away (they are the size of a mid 90s pager) and I can get them for less. I have one and it's not bad. It saved me 3 points and 60 the day it was fitted.

I can get them on group buys so if you're interested give me a shout!

i also have a b2 . it's great . top bit of kit , only problem is it can only be used for 1 car i.e can't move it around like the road angel .but if you only have one car then it's not a problem , you can however get a second car kit at 100

No mention of Radar...p***** on your bonfire :p

Yeah the Origin is the better piece of kit...despite Tiff endorsing the Angel, he said the Origin was better on Fifth Gear a few weeks ago.

Road Angel is popular, but the b2 specs out better. I'm also dubious of anything that claims laser detection, the physics of the whole business mean that it's much harder to get advanced warning of laser sites, until they're bouncing beams of your car, by then it's a bit late.

GPS alone won't save you from the talivans, dunno about your area, but they're the scourge of the south-west & south wales.

Check out this site for good reviews and comparisons.

    ERrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr oi Toxxxin toss pott!!!

    Whats this then :

LASER The new Road Angel Laser Alert module (see main pic above) allows Road Angel to detect the presence of laser based speed traps such as laser speed guns (used at the roadside or tripod mounted on motorway bridges) and 'safety vans' (parked at the side of the road with back doors open).

you can on the road angel......you can just hit delete when it goes off and it wont ever again in the same place. You can also add your own alerts if you know of a dodgy bit where the police hide etc.......very simple to use

yeah road nagel looks easier to use and not so complicated..

the b2 looks like you have to study it real hard to understand whats going on...

road angel goes Red as well which is handy...

I don't know! B2 is expensive, plus u ghave to buy the radar thing extra!!!!! so its about 500 all in, i can get the road angel for about 300!!!
