Just been enquiring about a 16v dcoe manifold and they were extremely helpful, really good prices 122 to be exact and they look to be very good quality. if only there were more companies like that in the UK!! very impressed:thumbup:

Is that before shipping and import duties? I'd expect it to be nearer 200 by the time it's in the UK. I do hear good things about Rowland though.

    Exactly!
I just got a 200 import duty and vat bill on my order. [xx(]
I also paid over 100 for international tracked air freight to guarantee I got the bits.
It works out around the same price as the crud mangolets ones by the time everything is added on. Of course you get the benefit of it being a much better shape.

Too much chat about Mangoletsi 16v manifolds and where to get better ones... ;)

Methinks you are currently batting for the opposition. Get your hands up!

I think those pictures pre-date the importation of goods!

Have you ever looked at a Mangoletsi manifold in the flesh? They don't match the ports - the porting on my 8v head is offset for when Claire Tippet had the car on carbs (and you subsequently bought the car) to make the ports align somewhere near the manifold. Ask the shed about it next time you see him.

I've never actually seen a 16v one though I've heard enough cursing from folks in the know, never to bother going near one!

So even the 8v ones are rubbish? Wow - Claire's engine was MOT'd, winched and delivered to Mr Brown with the carbs still on!

So maybe Danster's business in SA is 8v related? Then again I doubt he'd have shipped just one item ;)

there is always a better manifold that can be had in this country from a forum member, better than any of the cast designs by all accounts:thumbup:

Herr Badger has sent one of his finest curved air horn kits out...with which I encountered an unforseen problem.
I am awaiting further parts from Herr Badger...and spend a very productive day driving the pillar drill yesterday...so progress is being made.

Especially for you...I shall update the thread soon.

Haven't you got a roof to fall off? [:D]
