You can take the engine out and jack it across the diagonal

nothing apart from a bumper and a slam, as i already had the 2 wings in stock. so glad i hadn't got round to fitting them yet

im going to get another front crossmember this weekend just to make sure its all straight, otherwise the 'special tool' will be put back into action

the inner wing on driver side is still a bit of a mess, but its way better than when i started. a mate of mine works in a bodyshop and has offered to take a shufti, apparently the panel beater who works there is a bit of a legend. otherwise i'll get the tray and side bit chopped out of a donor and welded in. the actual leg itself is pretty much perfect.

basically it needs the repair panel that you buy for the battery tray but for driver side, plus the side bit behind the wing that runs from strut tower to the front of the car (tower itself is fine)

if it all works out he has offered to do me a full respray for a good price too! it has some rot in the usual place top corner of inner wing, so that will be done at the same time

been a while but basically I took it round to my mate who knows a very good panel beater to get the inner wing sorted out. after a bit of tinkering this is the state of the inner wing, as you can see he did an awesome job

been driving the car around for ages looking like this:

but shaz got me a grille at edition 38, and now its back to looking as it should, though i still need to pull my finger out and cut out the fog lamp holes

The latest modification is a nice dent in the side, courtesy of a woman in a FIAT punto:
    crash1.jpg crash2.jpg crash3.jpg crash4.jpg crash5.jpg

But dont worry, parts have been sourced and my tame paint man will be spraying the whole left side. will have the dents sorted at the same time plus the mirrors done body colour as a brucie bonus

the old dent, soon to be gone. the bad side will soon be the good side
    dent.jpg

the really annoying thing about it is a week or so earlier i spent hours jiggling the front end about to get the panel gaps and bumper sat just right [:x]

Some progress has been made, not all of it good. The rear arches were removed for rolling and this was found:

looks like i'll have to break out the welder sooner than planned
