A mate of mine's in the market for a motor and has been offered a Scirocco. It's apparently a Storm on a J plate, with 125k, BBS rims and described as good condition. The guy wants 1600 sheets for it; which I thought was a tad pricey - but then it does have all the leather etc. Opinions?
deffo not a storm on a J plate. Probably a scala or GT2 with a load of storm goodies on. (read this as modified for insurance purposes!) Value depends if it's carbed (GT2) then way too expensive, or injected (scala) then it really needs to be a minter. To give you a guide my last scirocco was a 88 GTX which has very similar spec to late scalas, similar mileage, wasn't mint but wouldn't have taken a lot of effort to get it somewhere close-450.
