What spec would a 2001 Y reg Seat Ibiza Cupra 20v Turbo have?

I've found a smashed one and want to know the spec and wrongly what the bits are worth before i get it?

not as much demand as the corresponding vw version.
The engine will be valuable to someone and if you find the right buyer the interior would also be of some interest.

Youmay be off finding a damaged VR instead!

I think it depends if it's a Cupra or a Cupra R. Although I'm not 100% sure if that's right, ask on SeatCupra.net

The chassis is basically the same as the mk2 16v Cupra apart from the rear discs being slightly different (and the damper shape and spec being diff too).

The Ibiza Cupra is 156bhp as mentioned above... the Cupra R came with 180bhp, Brembo 4 pots, 16" OZ superturismo wheels, red seat belts and two additional gauges. Apart from that theyre are very few differences.

Think the engine code on a Y-Reg might be AQX if that helps.

your right about the stitching, but the UK Cupra R's didn't come with colour coded bumper strips.
