Despite all my cajoling and threats, I have only two entries for September's competition. So cast your votes and useful comments and critiques are welcome. Picture 1 Picture 2 - 'Attitude' Picture 2 has been withdrawn
They don't come more laid back than me (in the nicest possible way, of course! ) What exactly would you like to be more relaxed?
the rule of the photo had to be taken in the month of the competition stopped me from entering, but i like the rule as a whole, keeps things fresh,
Pic 2 does it for me. Good use to DoF in pic 1, but the composition just drops it for me. Some dead space on the right of the shot which could maybe have been used better. No offence meant to whoever produced it mind...... For me, pic 2 has composition, good processing and a great expression. Shame i didn't get to enter mine in time. Didn't take the portraits i was wanting to use for it until about 10 days ago.
Picture 2 has been withdrawn. This means that Picture 1 is therefore our winner, with a very good total of 11 votes So stand up and take a bow, Antikariba - well done! And of course, it is now your turn to chose a subject for the October competition, which will start next week. Please let me know what you chose, and I will arrange the competition entries. cheers Stella
wes is gonna be mad, he loved being the organiser im going to enter this time, promise!!!! can the subject be black and white kittens?
lol - Wes is welcome to organise it if he likes. It's hard work, trying to persuade people to enter! You have to enter and win to chose the next subject! I guess kitten or cat pics would be good for me and you and a few others, but there's a few on the forum hate cats! Did you ever seen any of those books called '101 Uses of a Dead Cat?' Anyway, time for some kitten pics .....
ok well if not kittens then we should choose 'bland'. Which when you have nothing interesting around you to take photo's of, and a boring 18-70 kit lens its all you get!!!! im on the case, will get some new pics up this weekend, Bruce is mega!!!
Not as far as I know, but it was taken before the competition start date and rules say to be taken after the subject is announced. (We make the rules up as we go along! )
