Hi Ben, I really like the photo but just don’t feel the sexual energy in it. I feel more intrigued than anything else to who she is, her history. I think you’ve created a very strong and striking image, which draws viewers into the picture. I do feel a mysterious side to her sexuality though, but in a very subtle and refined way. Just my 2pence, it’s a great photo and love it. You have my vote Cheers
Ben, whilst I find the image is technically good - well lit and well exposed - I don't find it particularly attractive. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but that's my point of view as a woman. Men may find her attractive, but the hairstyle with the curlers makes it look a bit pantomime dame-ish. But feel free to ignore my opinion.
Thankyou all for your critique, positive or otherwise it all helps. I'm trying to define my own style and this image is one extreme of the high contrast looks i've been toying with. I think i'll tone it down a little for next years final degree project. Thanks again
