    ahahahahaha,

i always wondered about those signs.

obviously if they think its going to stop people breaking in then everyone will put the sign on there.

theives are going to know this and break in anyway

My mate tells a similar story - his brother's car got broken into time and time again in Coventry. Every time they'd take his CD's and head unit. He put a sign in the window saying something along the lines of "there's nothing valuable left - you've nicked it all!"

He also got a reply saying just checking!

Reading yours now I'm not sure if it's an urban myth or a country full of cheeky car thieves?!

Mate of mine got sick of getting stereos nicked from his mk3. We were going to remove the guts of the stereo and mount an airbag unit in the case connected to a microswich that would trigger when the stereo was removed!..........never got passed the ****ed discusion phase though!
