Looking at these at the moment, yes OK its a skoda, but i have been in one a few years ago and are very good and the build quality i think is better than the Seats

looking at one in black, 55K on the clock and going for 6500

    wat do you guys think?

lol yeah i did think of that,

what would you rather say, a golf GTI or Skoda?

i never a badge snob, but a Skoda lol

no seriously i would consider getting one, although would the level or type of girls drop since you get one, i think women can have a built in sense to sense what car a guy drives lol

Fabia or Octavia? I've worked with guys with both - the Octavia has the 1.8t lump, pretty quick and I think looks ok too. The Fabia had the TD lump (not sure what size it is 1.9?) and he ranted on how quick it was.....i was less than impressed tbh, although I think it went better after a remap. Doubt the white interior would last long either.

Driven both the Octavia and Fabia vRS.

Octavia is the best VAG group product with the 1.8T engine - It's pretty nice to drive.

The Fabia is a wee bit soft but looks better and goes well - Not as quick as some make out but still pokey with that 130bhp diesel.

rather have a leon cupra the octavias are abit of an old blokes car handling abit stodgy in std form apparently , as fro the fabia they apparently are front heavy as a few people have rolled them from the briskoda forum, there is a 220 bhp one thats insane seen it smoke us out at a rolling rd day at interpro its still a skoda at the end of the day though.

I'd choose Octavia over the Fabia anyday - the Diesel lump just doesn't do it for me...sure they can be quick enough, but there's something about puffing out huge plumbs of black smoke at high rev (not that they rev that high) gear changes and the van noise that put's me off. More tuning potential from the Octavia's 1.8T too.

    Skoda = [8D]

If a lass is put off you because of the car you drive, do the following.......

    1. Get a "Doctor vacume" cock enlarger.

    Or

    2. Pay 20 to the slapper on a street corner to get your pleasures [8-}]

Seats break down - Two new hire ones have died on me (electrical faults) so they are forever a write off for me.

Get one in black and look cool - Older shape looks better than the new one.

One of them fabias chased me up that big hill on the a55 (north wales, near Rhuallt?) when i had me vr, i got to the bottom of the hill doing about 100 and i had to move over to let him past half way up!!!!! although as soon as the road flattened out i flew past him, when he stopped in a lay by further up the road i pulled over an asked him "WHAT THE HELL" he done to it, he said its a dealer chip upgrade to about 190bhp an torque figures were stupidly high too!, Id deffo have one!

I like the octavia VRS. Sharp styline, subtle and not bad either!

You should see JBS's Octavia too! When i saw it, first I thought not a bad company car. Until i saw the specs and performance of the beast! [:s]

Trust me, people won't be laughing when they see that Octavia go past them at warp speed!
