Slick 50

    Any good for a VR6? 140,000 miles.

    No, never. Not ever. Not ever ever ever. Do a google search for "Slick 50" and "Snake oil". It's shit and will damage your engine. Might be ok in a gearbox (doubtful) but not in an engine. Walk, no, run away.

    As TSC might have subtly suggested, DO NOT USE IT. We put it in some cars and vans a few years ago and (although we couldnt prove it was directly related) they all died of oil starvation to the main bearings or big end bearings.

    I ran the valver for 140,000 with slick 50 in it and found it ok after stripdown ,very little wear,but after looking at google search I think I won`t be doing that again.

    I used Slick 50 in it when I had it. I use Activ8 now
