Ive gone slightly mad and stripped my MK2 20vt. Started refurbing the rear axle, stripped painted and polybushed, then thought might as well strip out all the front suspension as well. Oh lord what a nightmare, everything either seized or rotten, a simple refurbing job has turned into,

Rear axle stripped painted and polybushed
    Rear suspension top mounts polybushed
Front lower Engine subframe, relplaced-refurbed and painted and polybushed
    Both wishbones replaced and polybushed
Anti-roll bar, refurbed and new polybushed drop links
    New topmounts
    All ball joints replaced
    Power steering polybused
    New coilovers all round.
Just finished it today........on my drive[xx(] What a mission.
Ready now for tracking to be set up etc.. and my newly refurbed 3 Piece splittys to go on. A real mission, and badly needed doing as after 20 years, most everything was shot to pieces. But now all brand spanking new, missed the footy to do it, but well worth it.
