I'm currently doing some temp work delivering vans and cars. I was on the way home from one job, asleep in the passenger seat, when the muppet driving hit a parked lorry at 90 mph! Whats left of the side of the van: I was leaning on the side with my head on the glass, literally cms from hitting me! This debris was in the road, three other cars hit it! one burst into smoke with a blown engine, another's break lines were cut and had to stop with the handbrake and the other car, a elderly lady's, had two flat tyres! Side of the arctic we hit, the whole side was bent and cut open! You can't really tell from this pic, but the whole rear of the van is bent to the right and 40 cms backwards! Police arrived and closed the road, caused huge tail backs Any way, the moral of the story is, when your colleague asks do yo want to drive back, say yes, lol!
lol, the guy driving was temping, the same as me. For some reason he wasn't asked to come back the next day! To be honest he didn't need a bol*ocking, he was very shaken up and upset as it was! The copper said if we were a foot the other way i would have been a inch thick Lol, i certainly drive a little slower though!
