Heres my map from 2008 with 40's on a modded passat 9a, i have now an abf with 45's but dont have the map to hand. If you need it i can get it from the ignition from the car..this map is a bit upside down but i had just installed it and was learning to write maps..

another matter : the original (oem)coolant temperature sensor for ecu, to be located head .You could use it ???
the wiring conexion would be: 1 pin to aux. imput and 2 pin ground.is correct

You would need to know the sensor characteristics of resistance to measured temperature.
Then once this is all good and your fuel control is reasonable, you can start to refine the ignition map.

You need to install the megajolt pc software v4.0.2 http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_Downloads and download the mjlj file from the link i posted the open the file with megajolt.
As for the temperature sensor you can use the oem one and calibrate it it the software but its only to give advance automatically during cold starts or to reduce the ignition if running really hot, i never bothered with it.
