Hiya guys does anyone know the speaker wire colours for the VW golf mk2 I'm trying to fit new head unit and someones just cut the wires in the car. I'm after the colours of front right (-) front right (+) front left (-) front left (+) rear left (-) rear left (+) rear right (-) rear right (+) Thanks for your time Jack
try this:- get two wires that are the same base colour ie 1 gray, 1 gray and black, using a little battery put one wire to earth of battery and one wire to live of battery, this should make the speaker crackle and you should be able to tell what speaker it is, then write it down on a piece of paper, carry on with the rest of the wires until u have them all. hay presto had to do this when some scum bag broke in all stole my radio, it will work trust me
cool. I'll have to fit all my speakers know then....lol. I'm starting from scratch cos the guy who had it before me has taken the lot out. when they say left front i'm guessing its n/s of the car. cheers oak8vgti Vduber
