Speed Camera Detectors

    Hi all can anyone tell me what is the best speed camera detector to have?

    If your after a detector, Valentine 1 was supposed to be the best.

    Most people now use GPS based systems with updateable databases which know where the cameras are.

    I'm currently using a pda with tomtom with an overlay of all the working camera sites, seems to work and shows all the local camera sites but not the local dummy one, even shows the ds2 hookup on an a road round the corner from me.

    I've just checked and the database has just been updated again 30/04/05

    i recon its a question of preference and budget
    By far most people go for a road angel, but origin and snooper are equally capable imo.

    My snooper S4 does the job very well, i'm pleased with it
