Some of it is very good, but it's hard to find quality stuff it seems. Whenever I head near London in the car I end up constantly retuning the radio round all the stations... We don't seem to have anything like that here!

hard house-like proper hard, other dance style's, funky house etc,
hip hop-proper hip hop none of this snoop dog.puff daddy crap, acts like mark b and blade, ugly duckling, jurassic five are class.

but the prodigy are my fave band

can't stand feeder/cold play style of music, thats slit your wrist stuff.

loving the 80's too, because i was born early on and brought up with it all.

there you go a little insight into my music choices!

    Personally, i dont like garage.

I prefer progressive and Hard Trance/House and a nice bit of super hard and fast Techno!!!

Also dont mind some of the general run of the mill chart crap and some rock. Not the sort of stuff i would buy though.........

Ok, answering the question (sort of) never really had the chance to listen to any speed garage except the rubbish with mcs over the top of it. Who should I be listening out for or is it all as bad as the commercial junk that is always on the radio?

Birmingham has a huge speed garage scene-- as ilogik will know.

But i'll listen to anything me (80's cheese to jazzy hip hop like Diggable planets), if i like the beat i like the beat. I can't be doing with people only listening to the same thing constantlyand not opening up to other styles etc.

Bit of funky house is good for the weekend too IMO

    ISKO's RENT.

I used to really like speed garage when it first arrived on the scene. I liked it until it got commercialised, and I sort of grew out of it! After all it made "The Dream Team" famous.
Had a blinding night at Hard Times in '96, when they played on the closing night. Tremendous!! [:D]
