My speedo was clicking to, thought it was the cable, it turned out to be the trip counter button hadn't fully depressed, and the numbers couldn't turn round, got to a certain point and it clicked and started again. Drove me nuts for weeks until I punched my dash [:x] and it sorted itself lol never had anybother since.

common problem, often sorted by a new speedo cable.

this is defo the speedo, clicks gets faster with the car. At 70/80mph it gets really f**king annoying! [:s]
I'll take the dash out the weekend and check the cable.

Got this on the Mk1, the trip and milometer have jammed, so guess its clicking as it trys to turn them over.

    Anyway of dislodging?
