pascal should be able to answer on the GSF stickers - it's his car you're thinking of.

The Mk2 Race Series www.clubgti.com front wing stickers are largely covered by our own Trackday Tour versions, which are slightly smaller, though we are considering making the race ones available also provided they're stuck in the designated position, as per the race cars.

As for the rest - Toyo, Millers, Newman, Gaz, these are supplied to the Series Organisers and I'm not sure whether they'd be available.

Obviously there are plenty of others which were on the cars also, but those ones are the ones I see a lot of!

That does look the business, i very tempted to decal mine up, my last mini had numbers on it to help with the race look. I need to see if i can blag a few big stickers then as i dont want a chav style line up of small stickers thats for sure, a few big-uns should do it.

Don`t run `competition` numbers when on the road as it`s illegal for rally, race etc. cars hence assume for you too.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

People have been pulled before even with a line through.

As per the blue book all race numbers need to be fully covered for highway use. eg no black tape through them ;)

That's Blue Book though - the MSA want to see it done for the image of motor sport. Correct me if wrong though, but it's not got any link to the activities defined within the Highway Code.

Is it actually illegal to run numbers on the road?

As Chris said it is an MSA requirement to obscure race numbers when driving to and from events, but never really found out if it is illegal.

I think you can apply on the Toyo website for a Toyo sticker pack.

I did look this up some time ago, and couldn't find anything anywhere to contradict this.

MSA don't like it, but since they don't govern the roads.......

According to my father in law who's rallied most of his driving life, the MSA didn't want "non" competitors to look like they were rallying around the roads. So to stop complaints from the public, people had to cross through / make illegible the numbers. That's what he remembered...

After speaking with a rallying friend it appears to be linked to the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Section 13 Regulation of motoring events on public ways provides authorisation for the organisers to apply their own regulations hence the MSA ruling. The MSA have then expanded it to the regs for hillclimbs and sprints where some competitors drive to events.

... but who knows what else is out there by way of the law ?
