Hmm, always wanted one of these. Does the bling one bolt on to an already exsising boss or does it completly replace it.
mines a black one- i 'found ' it when i used to build motor homes, it fits straight onto a momo boss, you can't tell its there until removed, so really cool
ancient pic of mine but you can see how it fits in between I think I own the only MOMO wheel that if combined with a snap-off, the horn button doesnt fit in. So I had a spacer made, which is the shiny unpainted metal in the pic
can you fit these to the standard gti steering wheel? or do you need a different boss for it to fit? cheers
By the look of it, its only for aftermarket wheels. Ones that have a circle of allen keys. If you were try use it on a standard steering wheel it wouldnt "snap off" unless you pulled very very hard.
I have an original Snap-Off kit (unused) for sale if anyones after one?? Want 65 posted for it as it was around 100 new
Ok, just had a look - it's multifit on the wheel side and I can confirm it will fit a Momo... The boss side however is different and I think that will only fit onto a Raid / Mountenay boss although I think some momo boss's are also multifit. It's a nice bit of kit and also spaces the wheel out a bit to give extra knee room
It's this exact kit - https://www.europaspares.com/STEERING_WHEELS/MOUNTNEY/MOUNTNEY_SNAP_OFF_BOSS_KIT___144444__4495.html Can anyone confirm that a momo boss has a multi fitment as it seems strange that it would fit a MOMO wheel but not a boss...
^ Yeah just not sure if there are different kits though - just want to confirm before I sell it to someone...
Does this one look like its part of the steering wheel? I want to buy it, fit the snap off to my Momo then sell the wheel. The seller thinks its joined to the wheel but I cant tell, you can see no allen keys on the front of the wheel but they could be covered.
The front has visible allen keys. I wonder if it has a cover on it? I think i've found the answer on a google image search: From this To this
